Travel & Stay
Our home is located 25 minutes north of downtown Asheville, NC between the small towns of Mars Hill and Marshall NC.
If you have not visited the region before we highly recommend that you consider staying in Asheville. This region is famous for its outdoor recreation, arts scene and breweries. Downtown showcases a lot of these amenities, is full of nice hotels and will be the best option for those who do not have a car or wish to walk to restaurants, bars, shops etc.
West Asheville and the River Arts District are also fun, walkable areas to rent an Airbnb.
Mars Hill, Marshall & Weaverville are all nice places to stay as well. These are small towns but each have their amenities- restaurants, bars, parks etc.
If you plan to rent an Airbnb in these smaller towns please be cautious as many are listed as ‘Mars Hill’ or ‘Weaverville’ but are actually located deep in the mountains and while beautiful, can leave you staying quite a distance away. We are happy to check in about good options so if you have questions please reach out.
