A Pig-Pickin’ is a classic southern party. We will be roasting a pig, enjoying good company, beverages and other picnic fare.

We hope you can join us!

This is a casual affair, taking place outside. We hope for beautiful weather at the end of April but you never know here in the mountains so please dress accordingly. We have flat, covered areas to hangout, eat and escape sun or rain.

However, if you want to fully explore the property you will be doing some walking up and down hills and on uneven terrain.

Food & drink:

We will be providing barbeque pork (a North Carolina tradition) as well as other picnic style fare like potato salad, coleslaw and baked beans as well as ice, coolers and a few drinks.

Please bring anything you would like to drink or snack on, coolers, picnics, bottles- whatever you want are all welcome. 

Ingles grocery store is 3.5 miles away in Mars Hill for last minute provisions
